Got this one in 2006. KDHxxx. It has been a great pistol.
The Back Up (Weekend) Pistol
Nice! The 21 is my favorite! I carry it when I can and shoot it in IDPA every month. Approaching 1,500 to 2,000 round area without an issue.
Those are both great guns. Any reason why the change on the weekend? Seems to me the size difference is not that much?Just asking.
The G21 is nice and with the power of the .45acp you can't beat it for the capacity. When federal agencies went to the .40cal and later let agents carry want they wanted I went back to a 9mm and friend of mine went to the G21 now he carries the G21SF.
It just gives me a little carry time on the 22. I have over 4,000 rounds through the 21, but less than 1,000 through the 22.
I had a partner who carried a 21 strong side AND a 22 in the small of his back. That looked uncomfortable.
We can't carry the SF...just the G21.
I can carry the 22, the 21, and my 1995 Sig P229.
I had a Sig P228 on my list, but I took it off to make room for the Glock 21. Love the P228, but I like the .45 round a little more.
Here are the Sigs...
