    Hi gents, quick question.

I am a deputy and its 3:45 in the morning. I was detail cleaning my 21. When I took out the "Silver" colored plunger, the round part under the extractor hook, the little spring came off. Now, is this ok? I put it back but it won't stay on like before. Is it broken?

Inside, it doesn't look like its messed up. But the gun dry fires wierd now when I just sat the spring back in and carefully reassembled it. Help, I work tomorrow night.

    I figured it out.

I just had to push the spring in until it clicked and stayed.

I tried to delete the post but couldn't.

    Thanks anyways.

The part in question is the Firing Pin Safety. To make the FPS spring stay put push it in and rotate to lock it in.

Counter clockwise. Study pg 15. Silver colored plunger don't cut it.
