Being a 1911A1 person, I recently purchased a Heroes Model Glock 21, I took some of my 200 grain hard lead swc over 4 grains of Bullseye reloads with me to the indoor range at Valdosta, Georgia. After some awkward trigger pulls and a couple miss-feeds I settled down and began to like my new purchase. I have read a lot of the pro's and con's concerning Glocks and reloads using lead bullets. I am pleased to find out I can fire reloads in this pistol. I have always cleaned my weapons immediately after a shooting event so I don't see any reason not to continue using reloads. Reloading is part of the fun for me. I think I will try a box of 230 grain hard cast round nose bullets over 4 grains of Bullseye next. What say ye other reloaders? Thanks, sarge

If you are gonna shoot non fmj reloads, pick up an aftermarket barrel. Would hate to have you KB your g21 hero.

Reloading fmj cost more, but just as much fun! And you don’t need to get new barrel.

The only problem with reloads is people not clearing the lead out when they clean. It builds up and leads to problems. A complete lead removal is not going to cause you any grief. Enjoy your G21, and welcome to the board!

I've been shooting Lasercast 170-gr LWSC bullets through my G24C since 1999. I bought a used G21 last August and have been using LaserCast 200-gr LWSC bullets without problems. Keep your velocities and pressures reasonable, clean your barrel, have fun.;)

Snag a Federal Arms G21 stock length barrel.

Only about $75 with a group purchase of five barrels. Otherwise, it's $100 from FA direct.

I have three FA barrels and they all shoot a tad more accurately that my stock barrels.
