What do you guys think of the Glock 21 with Post Ban 10 rounders for carry?

If you can get away with it, by all means. Why not get a pre-ban mag?
I’ll be adding my g21 to my ccw soon.

Well because preban glock mags are really expensive. for 3 prebans from the prices I have seen Id basically be paying anywhere from 250-300 dollars for the ability to carry 9 more rounds. So what do you think of it with the 10 rounders instead of 13?

I carry my G21 all the time, if hi-cap's were not available then post-ban ten rounders are a good choice, my feeling is that for a carry gun's ammo "the more the merrier". You can't carry too much ammo

The 10 rounds are fine, and your right about the price just for 3 more, but for carry, I’d buy at least one pre-ban. If you need 12 rounds and only had 11 it would be worth the cost.

I bought some 10 round mag for my g21, and I have designated them for .400 corbon use.
The .400 corbon rounds tend to “nose dive” in the 13 round mags.

Sure. But, the only bigger pistol I've seen in .45acp is the H&K Mark 23! If you can hide a Glock 21 well enough to keep it concealed, more power to you.

But, WOW! You gotta share a few things, like what holster you use and if you're 7' or 8' tall! ;f

I've carried one of my G21's concealed a few times. I use a Sidearmor IWB. I don't know if I was printing or not, but nobody brought it to my attention, if I was.

I much prefer a G30, with 9-rd. mag for concealed carry. Much prefer to shoot the G21's, however.

I've been carrying a G21 for the past few days IWB; usually carry something smaller. It works, but it depends on your clothing and build.

As for the 10 round mags, I've never been able to get more than 9 rounds in mine, and thats after 2 years of use.

    I have no problem carrying my 21 with 10rounders , or m 1911 with 7rds.
If it makes you feel better buy a preban or two, but for what thy go for you could add a couple hundred and and carry a 27 or 26 as backup. just my .02

Anyone else have this problem of not being able to fit 10 rounds in their postban G21 Mags?

I can get 10 in all of my G21 mags, without that goofy tool they give you. It ain't easy, but I can do it.

10+1 is fine, especially if you have the required spare mag or backup gun.

Mus, Its fine. I carry a 21 concealed every day. Carrying a 1911 with two spare mags nets you 25 compared to 1 spare & a 21 nets you 21. Almost equal. Have fun!
    Stay safe,

13 rnders are nice but 10 will do just fine. After all, in a self defese situation it would be HIGHLY irregular to have ten bad guys after you at one time . Hardly ever hear of more than 2 or 3 attackersand i only need one round per target with a .45:)
and yes, I carry my 21:)

I guess 10rd'ers are OK. I have 5 13's for mine, but I was lucky and got them cheap.
I recently wanted to order a Beretta 96.
The pre-ban mag holds 11, and the post ban holds, of course, 10.
I was amazed the price people were willing to pay for that 1 extra round they got in the pre-ban mag!

10 Rds will do you fine. My grandfather carried **GASP** 6 Rounds /**GASP** in his revolver as a cop for thirty some odd years, and never encountered a problem those six couldn't solve (And yes, he did have to "drop the hammer" on 2 occasions)

    LOL...Tenmil...you said it..:)
GRANDFATHER.... In his day of law enforcement the six rounders WERE fine... But in todays age of gansta rap and gangs we have today... Id say he is under armed... give me at least 13 rounds of .45 with fast reloads especially if MY life depends on it..:)
