I shot my first box of DoubleTap ammo out of my new Glock 20 and am very impressed.

The question is, since my Glock is stock, will the recoil spring handle that ammo okay without premature wear to the pistol? It has considerably more recoil than my previous ammo.

How far is your G20 ejecting brass? Per Wolff Springs' guidelines, if your Glock is throwing brass farther than five or six feet, you probably need a stronger recoil spring.

Well WalterGA, I did not make a point to look at that, but I did notice it was flying further than before and I would say it is close to the distance you mentioned.

So where do I go from here? I think I should upgrade. I plan to stay with doubletap ammo. I may vary in the bullet gr. but most likely will settle in the 135 to 165gr range. Occassional 180gr.

    Any advice/comments welcome.
