glock 20 does it have chamber support

    or would i need a bar-sto barrel for hot handloads ? can you swap barrels on the glock 20 and shoot the 40 and the 357 SIG as well.do you need different mags to do it if you can do it thanks,keith

    Yes, it has chamber support.

    Some aftermarket barrels just have a little more.

    With an aftermarket conversion barrel you can shoot 40 and 357sig and I would have to think a g20 mag should work fine.

    Hot (fast) handloads can be shot in a stock barrel if you keep the pressures down by choosing the correct powder. If you want to go above SAAMI spec (high pressure) , then by all means get an aftermarket barrel.
    Look a little closer at the picture. The KKM has a steeper feedramp, nearly vertical. Some brass below the extractor groove does show.
    The Glock barrel shows significantly more brass between the extractor groove and the top of the feedramp. This "feedramp intrusion" of the glock chamber is supposed to promote feeding ammo under adverse conditions. It also leaves somewhat more brass supported by nothing but air...
