Anyone else having problems with the newest style 15RND mags, follower is stamped 2, but the body of the mag has the rectangle exposing the metal liner just like the new Model 21SF ambi mags. I have had several, but not all of these new mags fail to hold the slide back after firing the last round. Bad springs?...bad follower...got the gun new with one "regular" mag, and the additional mag (with the orange and silver warning sticker) which was the new style and is defective!

    Hi,

I got 6 of the new style mags for my G20, but I haven't shot with any of them yet.

One thing I did notice was that the follower seemed to have a little bit of wiggle room in there.

You might remove the slide (make sure it is unloaded!!!) and put the magazines into the frame to see where the follower contacts the slide stop lever.

What did Glock say about the problem?

I'll post a report with the newer style mags when I get a chance to try them...

    Good Luck,

    Alan

    Hi,

I shot 2 of the newer style 6 I ordered and they worked just as expected as well.

    Thanks,

    Alan
