I just received a few factory Glock +2 extensions and Wolff springs for my preban G23 FML mags and I have a question about the little triangular part that fits inside the extension. Is this piece only used with FML mags? Do I have to remove the internal plate on the bottom of the mag spring to use these extensions since there is no hole for the locking tab? I assume the answer is "Yes, you idiot," but I wanted someone more knowledgeable than myself to verify that fact.

To clarify, I don't need verification of the 'idiot' part. My wife has already confirmed that fact.

Thanks.

First, which magazines are you trying to install them on? A Glock Amorer with my agency told me that the new +2 extensions are only designed for use on third generation magazines. If you are using them with third generation magazines, then you should not need the original inserts. Make sure you put the new triangular insert in the right way, otherwise you'll only get +1.
