I was contemplating on whether to get a Gen5 17 or 19 as soon as the dust cover issue was corrected. Killed two birds with one stone and got a 19X this weekend.

Congrats to you as well. It's an in between gun and I'm excited about taking it out this weekend. I think it's better than the q7 and 19 gen 5 due to no cut and comes with better sights without a big premium.

Yep, I'm hoping to get to the range in the morning, if it's not raining.

The cutout on the 17s have never bothered me as my pinky doesn't go that far down but I've never liked that on the 19s.

Yeah I only held the 19. It wasn't as impressive in the hand as the 19x. Held a 19gen3 but grooves hurt more than my gen 4.

Put 275rds thru the 19x today and I will say it felt really good and I was more accurate than my 19 with my rmr.

Heard recoil is very linear? Haven’t shot mine yet but I’m excited. This Glock seems special.

You can def get a good grip on it to make it more stable

I spent my 19X money on a 19 MOS with a vortex venom. I felt the price was good enough that I couldn’t pass it up. My brother just got his 19X, so I’ll have to try that out. Mine will have to come later.

That's still a good buy they both have their purpose
