That's not a hog, that's Wilbur!
Do you think the little red tip would catch on a dirty feed ramp .
no, I think the truncated cone profile will feed better than any bullet design.
Hehehe. Naw I'd pick that one up and talk to it, till my kid claimed it.
Edited : Just showed this to my Daughter and she instantly fell in love with the little dude.
Any time, I'm ready!
People, thank you for posting your results when hunting with a carry load. I have been excoriated for doing this on other forums.
Frankly, I like to know what a carry load really does to flesh. IMHO, it is much better than shooting into some Jello.
Has anyone heard what the street results are with this 135 gr +P load?
My friends and I do that also. Wild Hog's are basically a Varmint in NC, they tear up crops like a breaking plow. We are very picky on the shot tho.
Sitting in a blind where we can actually make the shot we want to is Number 1, if we are hunting with dog's it's the 44 or 454 and or my lever action.
Meh, give me Gold Dots in 124 plus P, thanks.
Same here. Bonus: The Gold Dots should be more affordable.
A few years ago my issued pistol went from 9mm to .40. I was given several boxes of the 124 gr. +P GD’s because my boss knew I liked the 9 and carried a 19.
Now, in the near future, we’re going back to the 9mm and he asked me if I had any of them left.
Nope nope nope...
