I am getting ready to shoot my first IDPA match in January. I know that the 3.5# connector is legal so I am assuming that the 3.5# connector/NY1 spring combination is also legal. Am I correct? I did not see anything in the rulebook about putting a smooth trigger in a G19, would that be considered an external modification or enhanceing the trigger? Thanks for an replies.

Both the combo (3.5+NY) and replacing the serrated trigger with a smooth glock trigger are legal.

Does it have to be a Glock 3.5#connector, or can it be a Ghost or Scherer? I still have not decided which one I want or whether I even like them yet.

Either Glock or any of the other available connectors are permitted .

As long as the safety's are maintained.
