    Howdy,

I am looking for a replacement barrel to squeeze out any more mechanical accuracy from a Glock 19 (Please no ammo/training comments ).

I would assume by having a hand fit barrel I may loose the inherent reliability the Glock has, and that’s fine, but is there any barrel out there that offers more accuracy while still remaining as reliably as factory?

If anyone can offer any suggestions as to which would be the best, AND which would be the best value I’d appreciate it. I’m looking for something corrosion resistant, so I’d want a stainless barrel.

Lastly, would the factory Glock barrel benefit by being re-crowned?

Bar-Sto is probably as good as you're going to get.
    (maybe Jarvis)

When you tighten up the tolerances, you are going to lose reliabity.
It's a tradeoff and there are very few who can actualkly walk that line without falling off.
The Bar-Stow has tighter chambers as well but I've never seen any reliability issues with them due to that, especially in 9mm.

I personally cannot see any significant benefit to recrowning the factory barrel.

I Just installed an LWD in my G23 and love it
    Function Flawless
Definate accuracy increase, No flyers like the factory barrel and at 25yds it hits spot on, the factory barrel hit up about 6" and left 12".
Fit & Finish are A-1
And the price is right, $100.00
Also you can shoot Lead with no worries.
I will also be hand loading for this one.

Just put a KKM in my 19 and it works perfectly. Haven't put the gun in a Ransom rest to be able to say for certain that it is an improvement but I seem to shoot the gun better....which in all honesty could be a mental thing. Kinda like that girl in the bar that gets prettier everytime you buy her a drink.
