Once again I have an issue :wavey: Just got this holster for my glock 19 http://www.blackhawk.com/product/Inside-The-Pants-Holster-wStrap,155,34.htm in a size 1 but when I put the gun in the holster the trigger is still uncovered. Should this be considered a bad thing? Made me a little nervous and I haven't started using it yet since I would for the trigger to get bumped and me take a 9mm JHP to the thigh.

Big issue. You want a holster that completely covers the trigger guard.

I know "Blackhawk" sounds cool, but a kydex holster designed for your G19 is really cool. See www.blade-tech.com

I have a galco kingtuk for my glock 19, I carry it every day and love it. By far the most comfortable IWB holster I have ever worn. I would definitely check it out if you decide to invest in another one.

I have one called the Phantom about $40 and very comfortable.

I ordered it to fit my 19, in addition my 27 and 22 fit it
    very well.

    Good Luck

Love my Galco Summer Comfort for my G17--super comfy, durable, great retention, trigger guard completely covered, quick draw time and comes off easy by simply unsnapping the belt loops...well worth the cost...

Just save yourself a bunch of money, wasted time and frustration and get a Crossbreed Supertuck. IMO its the most comfortable IWB holster made. Its such a simple holster but once you put it on you will be amazed. You won't even know your G19 is there. Everyone that I know that has tried one loves them and switched immediately.

You should have a size 3 in that holster. It's exactly what my 19c is in. But I'm getting a replacement kydex for the glock to go with my white hat holster.

Which is IMHO the best IWB holster bc even if you get another gun, all you have to buy is a $20 replacement kydex, and you still have the same holster. Which you normally have to do when you buy a new gun anyway. And it's made exactly like the cross breed AND... Wait there's more you can get custom colored kydex and Lazer engraved leather.

I don't get paid by anyone but I'm truly in love with this holster and think everyone should at least try it

    Love my G19c

THose blackhawk holsters suck, spend some money and get one MADE for the model of gun you are using.

Generic one size fits all holsters are ok to throw your revolver in and strap to your belt while driving around on a 4 wheeler, camping or clearing brush, but for real everyday use, you really need something that is designed for the job.

x2 on the crossbreed supertuck, great holster, my g19s disapear completely at 6'4 185lbs.

Galco makes some decent leather that can save you the cost over custom.

Look into grizzle leather too, they make some great stuff.

Also, you will need a real belt, one that is made to help support the weight of the gun, lots of people think this isnt important....until carrying for a few days, ten they realize how important a proper belt is.

DOnt skimp $$$ on your EDC/CC stuff, you will use it EVERY DAY....and as for a good holster...CC means CONCEALED carry, not a big buldge from a blackhawk holster..

    Yo, dude,
$18.99 holster is not the shizzle. You would be better off with the much hated FOBUS for about $21.99 depending on the retailer. I have FOBUS holsters for virtually every gun I own, and guess what? They are not always perfect, but they always work. I use them for competition, sometimes for carry, and they always work. Try them.
Edited to say: I know you were talking IWB, but the FOBUS is in the price range you were talking about. Blade-tech, among others, has wonderful IWB holsters for a few bucks more.

Crossbreed and White Hat are two nice IWB holsters.

I recommend either in horsehide and the combat cut.
