So, I've been bitten by the collectors bug again, and this time, it's the model 19. I have no idea why, but I feel the need to purchase one of every variation of this wonderful firearm.

One thing that I have searched high and low for is a complete list of every FACTORY made guns. This means, after it leaves the Glock factory, any variations are invalid.
I'm only interested in guns that were or are made by Glock.

This is a list that I have come up with, and I intend to update it as new input/proof is shown of new entries. If you have something rare, post it up. If it is a mythical beast that no one has heard of, I'd appreciate if anyone could verify the validity of it.

Here is what I've come up with thus far.
    Gen 1
    Gen 2
    Gen 2 austrian proof marks
    Gen 2 ported
    Gen 2 cutaway
Gen 2.5 (single pin gen 3 frame)
    Gen 3 austrian proof marks
    Gen 3 austria/us
    Gen 3 USA (P stamp)
Gen 3 USA (non P stamp)
    Gen 3 ported
    Gen 3 threaded barrel
    Gen 3 FDE
    Gen 3 OD
    Gen 3 cutaway
    Gen 3 RTF2 (straight serrations)
    Gen 3 RTF2 (gill serrations)
    Gen 3 RTF2 Vickers FDE
    Gen 3 RTF2 Vickers GRAY
    Gen 3 RTF2 Vickers Black
Gen 3 T (blue, simunition trainer)
    Gen 3 P (red, practice)
    Gen 4 Austria
    Gen 4 USA
    Gen 4 FDE
    Gen 4 OD
    Gen 4 GRAY
    Gen 4 Battlefield green
    Gen 4 MOS
Gen 4 T (blue, simunition trainer)

If I could only figure out where the edit OP button is, I'll add these to the list. Thanks, no idea how I missed the threaded barrel.

Brass To Face. Slightly tongue in cheek. Some manufacturing change caused lots of turmoil from guns sending ejected shells straight back at the shooters face. Probably caused more literature than any other Glock change. Somebody should write a book about it.

The only Gen-1 model 19's that I'm aware of were a special order for the Kansas Beverage Control. From the articles I've read, an order was placed with Glock for a more concealable 9mm. The frames were G-17 frames that had the grips cut to G-19 length and the slides were marked the the agency initials.

Paul- ok, that's what I figured it was, but just wanted to make sure. I have (had) one that had this problem, but a apex extractor cleared it up. I remember the first time when I shot it, I thought I was going crazy feeling something hitting my hat lol.

Firecop- I think you are correct on the Gen 1, as far as I know those ksABC guns are the only ones to show up in private hands.

They made a G19T in 3rd and 4th Gen.They also made a G19P in 3rd Gen. Possibly other generations, but I know for a fact that those exist.

Good additions to the list. Did a little image searching to confirm them, and ended up looking at pics you had posted lol. Very nice collection you have. :) I'll update to add these, thank you.

Does anyone know at what point they started putting the hole in the mag base plates I have a 19 from 1989 (I think Sept) and the mag base plates do not have holes in them.

I'd say very soon after those magazines were manufactured. If you look very closely, you can see the tooling outlines of where current magazines have them. This has always been a tattle-tale of Glock's any time they make a change to anything polymer.

Yes I noticed the faint outline where the hole would be, there much easier to get the baseplates off than the new mags.

Is there a recess on the top side of the base to allow the peg to lock it in place, or is it just a slip fit?

It has a recess on each side like the current models.

here's a super-rare G19 variation. Glock made 4 Gen3 G19 blank-firing guns for Stembridge Gun Rentals for use in Terminator 3. Externally it is stock G19 except that the top of the barrel block is lower than stock (same as a G19T)

Internally, it has a blow back barrel and locking block like that of the G19T simunition gun, but the barrel is fully bored 9mm with a 9mm chamber instead of the simunition bore and chamber. it is also internally threaded so a blank-firing adapter can be inserted to give it enough back pressure to cycle. it will allow you to chamber and fire a live round which would not be a good idea.

Glock made a total of 16 of these Glocks for the movie; they made G26, G19, G34, and G21 versions
