    Hi folks

I have mounted a dry supressor on my Glock 17 with great results. Yes, they are legal in New Zealand. I just used a 17L barrel in my 17.

I have just purchased a 19. Tried to do the same thing with my now spare original 17 barrel. But these are very different.

I am wanting to know if this is because my third generation 17 is substantialy different from the second gen 19? Or they are just plain different and cant share parts.

If the later is the case, where can I get a longer barrel for my 19 that I can put a thread on?

    Thanks.

The locking lugs on the G17 and G19 are different, different for all G17's and all G19's. You need to buy an extended barrel made specifically for a G19.

    Thanks for your help.
Do you have a name of a firm that would make these extended 19 barrels?

I bought my G19's extended barrel from Jarvis Custom. Their service was quick and the product quality is great.

Sounds sweet. Do you have a picture of that gun with the extended barrel?
