to the OP, I have all models and can carry all of them in an AIWB holster. It all depends on the way you want to dress. The bigger the grips, the baggier the shirts need to be, plain and simple. You have to dress around what firearms system/model that best fits your needs. Which ever gun points and shoots the easiest for you is the gun for you. Then you dress around the gun of your choosing. I think AIWB fits many different style guns, grips and barrel lengths however many folks do not like that style of carry but it works for me. I am 5'6 and 140 lbs and can easily carry the 19X or 45 if I want, and actually yesterday I did with my 19X. First, pick the gun that best fits your hand/needs and the dress around the gun!!!!

I’ve never tried AIWB. I’m not overly fat but do have a small belly (it happens to a lot of us by the time we’re in our mid 50s:). I’ve read a lot where people say that style of carry is uncomfortable for sitting and driving if you’re not a flat belly. I normally carry at 4 o’clock and this is pretty comfortable to me.

As other have said, the 19 is probably the best all around CCW between the three. I own all three and while I can and have carried all of them off duty concealed, the 19, is still the best option, well if you don't throw in a 43X. :jumprope:

I know the 43 and 43x are hard to beat for ccw. I’m going to get one of those as well especially for summer carry. I think I’ve narrowed it down to a 19 or 19 MOS. I’m going to put a red dot it and wondering which option is the best?

I own all 3 of the mentioned Glocks. I AIWB the 19 the easiest. While I like my 19X and 45 they just don't conceal as easily for me 5'11 215 lbs. I think it depends on your body size as to which works best for you. All three are equally as good as the other. While some will argue that the 19X and 45 offer a higher round count and a better grip I just don't see any being more desired than the others. Anyway, those are my thoughts. Good luck!

We are similar in stature I believe. What set up do you use for AIWB?

Not to derail but I've not kept up with Glock products for many years. Come to think of it, my current knowledge comes mainly from threads on GT so imagine my surprise when after reading this thread I went to the Glock website and saw all the compact sized 9mm variations: G19 (various generations), G19X, G45, G43, G43X, G48. Pretty sure I missed some models!

    WOW!

Honestly the same thing happened to me. I own a Gen 3 G17 for some time now. I have other pistols but decided to start looking at Glocks again, and like you, I was like wow! Where did all these come from??

    I own four.
    G30S
    G43X
    G19 (Gen 5)
    G26 (Gen 4)
All are most worthy. The G43X gets the call for IWB. G26 for OWB.
So very much can depend on the proper choice of holster.

I thought so too, but I have no more trouble hiding the grip of my G45 than I do my Glock 32. I mostly carry mine OWB in the Phalanx Defense Systems multi fit holster, and carry my two mags in their dual mag pouch. They hide very well.

I carry a G-19 gen 3 in a Comp Tac Minotaur IWB. I find it very comfortable at 0300.
I have carried a G-17 with that same holster, and you can tell the size difference.
I shoot the 19 very well, esp with the Holosun 507C (on a Brownells slide, as I am not too thrilled with the MOS system on my G-41)
I have a Crossbreed coming as I have added a TRL-7 light to it.

I have the G45 and in fact sold my commander 1911 and was looking for replacement. I decided to get the G45.
I had a Gen 5 19 and didn’t want another because I didn’t like the cutout. I also had a 19x and wasn’t happy with the tab in front of grip well the G45 turned out to be a perfect choice for me. It’s like a commander 1911 in my opinion and I like way it balanced as opposed to the G17. I’ve been carrying it in an IWB holster and it carries great. It has become my daily carry. I hope this helps.

Glock 19 for concealed carry. I bought a G 45, it did not shoot any better and printed more (not much of a concern) so I sold it. I do have a Salient Arms magwell on the G 19 which makes the grip perfect.

it’s actually a nice unbranded iwb leather holster I got at my local gun store. I carry at the 3 o’clock position.
It’s not molded to it but works great.

I don’t know why Glock took so long to make a commander size g17!

The 19X and the 45 are the same for me.
The 19 is not the best grip for me so it's not an option.
I don't carry any fancy optics in my Glock so a goos set of iron sights does the trick for me.
So to answer your question 19X or 45 will be my choice!
