I WANT ONE!!!!
[sarcasm on]Talk about accuracy!![sarcasm off]
hehe, nice try though.
I'd think the first round should hit something. Still, I do want one bad!!!!
No, not at all. Two people on the range did not want me to fire it, because they were sure it would shoot over the berm in the hands of a first-time shooter. Three people warned me to shoot under the targets to keep it from rising above my head. When I actually shot it, I aimed low and was only thinking of one thing -- do not shoot into the air. This is 100% not compatible with 'press the trigger slowly backward in one continuous motion, while keeping the front sight over the target, and keeping the rear sight aligned with the front -- and have the break be a surprise such as you release a shot without realizing it."
If you were not there to do better in front of me, then your opinions on accuracy for the first time firing a pistol everyone says is 'uncontrollable' is suspect.
I am not knocking your shooting skills,
The laws of physics are acting against you and I venture to say that even in the hands of an Experienced FA shooter that they would not acheive much better accuracy.
Very cool video.
Wish I was there...
Fallout -- I got that from your post -- it was T.Harless who said I should have hit something on the first shot. Yes, I should by my second or third session shooting it -- but my very first shot with a G18 was in this video so I don't see how I could relax the first time I squeezed the trigger.
Please re-attach, can't download now due to the attachments crash on glocktalk.
No disrespect meant by my post. I would be shakin' like a dog sh|tin' razor blades if it were me!! ;c ;c
Thought you did well for the first time firing a full auto pistol.
By the last string you had pretty much mastered the muzzle climb on the pins.
Next time, learn into it a little more and lock the support hand tighter and you should get better results, but not bad for someone unfamiliar with these things at all.
Yup, that brings back memories. I had the chance to try one out once. Fun as heck to shoot, but I wasn't too accurate with it.
I'm gonna jump on the opportunity to shoot one of those if it ever comes my way.
I think full auto isn't for plates and pins.
It's for refrigerator boxes!!! (or at least man-sized targets)
Cool video. I have been collecting a few of these, consider your added.
No one is superb with the gun on their first try. I have fired hundreds of G18 magazines, and after 10-15, you really start to get the hang of it, and can do controlled bursts COM.
I am pretty sure that did rise by checking out the targets.
