    I am sure this has been covered before,but as a relative newbee how much less muzzle whip could I expect with hot 115 grain, in comparsion to the non compensated G17, I am considering picking one up and am looking for your imput.Thanks

    The muzzle jump reduction in the couple I've shot was directly proportional to the hotness of the ammo. The hotter the round, the greater the reduction.

    Some 9mm major IPSC loads kept one gun's muzzle pretty flat for an extended shooting session.

    I'd say if you like to blast away with a lot of +P or +P+ ammo a C model would be a good investment.

    9mm +P+ is getting into the .357sig territory. I have a G31C and I like it better than the non "C" model.
