That's a good question. Contrary to what you might have heard, the Glock 9mm has a fairly tight chamber compared to say a Beretta 92 or FN/Browning Hi-Power.
Try taking a few fired (empty) 9mm Para cases fired thru a FN/Browning Mk. III Hi-Power and insert them into the chamber of a Glock 9mm and then do the vise-versa. The once-fired Hi-Power cases are a tight fit in a clean Glock 9mm chamber. Once-fired Glock cases fall into and out of a Hi-Power chamber like $&it thru a goose. Same for a Beretta 92. Just one example.
Now if were talking about the Glock pistol in .40S&W, that's a whole other story.....
