    So I picked up a used Glock 19 today, to compliment my 17. Put a couple of hundred rounds through it, and am quite happy except for two things;

    It has an extended mag release. I'm a leftie, and it's biting my middle finger. It also has a NY trigger.

    Swapping out those parts shouldn't be a problem, but I'm going on the road next Monday, and want to carry the 19. Is there any reason I can't swap out the tigger spring and mag catch for the ones of my 17 until my new parts come in?

    TIA,
    tt

    Should be no problem, those parts are interchangeable on the 17/19.

    Like aggie said, they are completly interchangable. The parts are also cheap enough that I keep spare springs and other wear prone parts on hand just in case.
