Yea, chickenman. Watch me the next time. I'm lovin me some Texas Star now. You see this was my very first time shooting it that got scored and I got tickled while shooting. After that shoot, I had a chance to get the hang of it since there were so few shooters tonight and by the time I left I was shooting a raw time of 19.93 with only one mag. See ya, next time, Mr. Foghorn aka big chicken.

I talked to GunDoc. He gave me some excuse about his sight being off. Guess you just dusted him good.

No, smarty pants. As a matter of fact, I did it in 27 bullets. It just was some slow shootin in between the laughing. (mine) Of course, my second and third times around with my gun, I did it with one mag, both times. So there. :bluesbrothers:

    Good going!

I believe the first time I shot it I ran out. At the time I was shooting with 10 rounds mags with my Kimber .45 cal.

I'm pretty good shooting it now but occasionally I will bomb it and take a long time to shoot.

Most people fear the Texas Star.

Are we going to be able to shoot it for awhile or did HH take it back?

He took it back that night. Darn it. I thought it was really fun. I need to practice movers before AL. I hear movers are especially liked down there at their match.

I had heard about some of our better shooters having a problem with the star, so I had about 70 rounds between my belt and in my gun, so I was prepared. I will have to admit I shocked myself that even when I did the 60+ second shoot, I was able to take them out with only 27 bullets.

You planning on being at the Tuesday and Thursday shoots this week? I'm hoping to make both, for a change, if everything works out for me.
