Sadly, the masses are asses and they will vote for any jerk with an (R) next to his name. Even though said jerk is just as odoriferous as their counterpart that is sporting the (D)!. They do this in an effort to vote in to office "the lesser of two evils" and at the same time fail to realize that they are still voting for evil. For the dorks out there; it's like voting for Darth Vader instead of The Emperor because he's "a little less evil".

A little help, will ya, Epsy? Ahmanutjob Obama? Ahmanutjob Jaba the Hut? Just seeing if we are dorks talking about ton-tons on Hoth, or if we were politically astute. I'm fine with either. Giuliani is not impressive to me. I like Jawa's better...

The reality is, if you choose to vote a third party or a candidate who has no chance (like Ron Paul), Rudy is going to be the nominee.

Third party and similar voting is great for local level elections, but until viable candidates are grown through the system, it's a worse than a wasted vote in presidential elections.

Don't be shy Luxone, tell us exactly how you feel.. The same could be said about those who continually vote third party and accomplish absolutely nothing.

As much as I am against third party voting I could NEVER bring myself to vote for Guiliani

Not quite true. If we elect Ron Paul in the primary he will get the nomination.
We need to get busy on the Ron Paul campaign.

I have no problem voting for Ron Paul in the primary. I'm assuming if he doesn't get the Republican nomination he will run indepedant for the general election?

I can see both sides of the problem here and for the first time in many years I honestly don't know what I'll do come general election time (depending on the final tickets).

There are a few things I don't like about Ron Paul.

    A. Cut and run
    B. Looking at his record, he doesn't seem to do what he says (i.e. he is not against bringing home the pork).

Talk is one thing, action is another.

We shoud havbe never invaded Iraq without a declaration of war. We are in violation of our constitution.
    We need to
    A. Declare war and start fighting to win,not likely since we haven`t done that since WWII
B.If we are not going to declare war and fight to win we need to get out.

Don't worry I'm not shy and have no problem telling people how I feel. I truly do believe what I said about the masses being asses. It's evident that my statement is true by the fact that more people will vote for the next American Idol than for the next president. As far as the same thing being said about third-party voters? I know that I have never regretted a single time that I voted for the person that I felt was best for the job and had respect for my rights (usually a person in a third party). I do on the other hand regret the last person I voted for because I thought he was the lesser of two evils. Who was this you ask? Our president.
