Folding rear sight for my ar15 i like both but am wondering which to go with any input would help
I have the GG&G but, I think either will be a good choice.
From my experience, the Midwest Industries (SPLP) Same Plane, Low Profile rear is just as good as the Troy and GG&G for less money. I use the SPLP and MI HK style front as primary sights on a couple ARs. You really can't go wrong with Troy or GG&G though.
Go to a shop that carries rear sights and look at them in person. It's the only way you'll figure it out. Unfortunately, GG&G stuff isn't carried by many stores.
I've always been partial to the Troys.
has anyone seen that new rear sight troy has? it is like a diamond shape instead or round looks really cool but i have no idea if its any better
I just installed the Magpul BUS and I gotta say, I am very impressed with it.
I've always used ARMS 40 series...Troy looks good and is well made, others are as well I'm sure.
Paid $45 for my black MBUS from Magpul........have to say, it is an excellent option.
Same here (again). I have the GG&G on the house AR and the Magpul rear MBUS on the truck gun. The GG&G has the 2-apertures (large and small) and the Magpul has a single aperture. I'm happy with both.
Production of those has been halted!
Seems there is a bit of an issue with the person who designed it.
My Magpul BUS has BOTH apertures (small and large peep). Paid $55 shipped.
i have troy and were well worth the hassled to get them in canada
Troys, I use them, my cousins and friends all use Troy BUIS. Weaponparts.com had a deal for them at $90, I picked up four for that price.
Yeah. I just figured that out.
Go for the best..Troy battle sights. I just got the FDE Tritium ones. Expensive but worth every penny!
+1 on the Troy.
I've got a Troy BUIS on my AR. I'm very impressed with it.
I have GG&G MAD rear sight I like it a lot!
It's perfect for the Eotech and it's Rock Solid.
