I would suggest we keep to our own council until the entirety of the evidence is released.
I'd like to edit my post to add that my suggestion, while true, wouldn't be quite as much fun as all this, whatever the hell it is. Carry on.

    Doesn't justify murder.

Because, from what we've seen so far, the arresting officers made a series of bad decisions?

Both the county and the private autopsies have agreed that his death resulted from a "homicide caused by asphyxia due to neck and back compression that led to a lack of blood flow to the brain." What more are we looking for? Retro-fitting a justification for why it was okay to choke the guy to death?

The problem isn't really the neck. It was restricting full respiration by putting body weight on the upper torso for a prolonged amount of time.

I suspect there will be expert witness testimony on the effect of the street drugs in Floyd's body and their relationship to his death. Usually, drugs like those are contributing factors.

    IMHO- Likely contributing factors:
    Underlying heart disease
    Drug intoxication
    Overexertion from resisting arrest
Depression of respiration by police officers' body weight, prone positioning, and handcuffing

Are you looking at the white paper in front of him?

That's not it. Watch his visible hand at 2:56-2:59.

Yep, he dropped dope. Still doesn’t change the officer’s responsibility to check on him before 8 minutes go by with a knee on his neck. Even people who are lifetime criminals and former porn actors (he was both) should expect better care when arrested than he got.
36.5 years on the job, retired five months ago. I know about arresting folks.

No doubt it would be a contributing factor. Don't think anyone will believe anything presented at the moment........ But will certainly make a good courtroom argument / evidence.

I agree. Suspects like Floyd are ticking timebombs. The officers could have done everything right and he still could have died. IMHO- he had pressure on his upper torso for far to long.

I heard he and the cop who killed him, were both bouncers at the same bar? Sounds personal.

They are talking about the baggie behind him, against the wall.

I thought the same thing. Watch his left hand as he slides down the cruiser (sheesh the wall, I need to get a bigger phone) to the ground. Not saying it's drugs but it's suspicious. We are looking at the wrong thing.

I saw the video. One officer decided to shut the left door of the vehicle, but suddenly rushed to the other side of the vehicle. The Asian officer steps forward towards the vehicle at the same time. Presumably this is where Floyd began resisting? It's not in view, so can't see. But almost immediately, the first officer stops near the trunk of the vehicle, casually walks back and shuts the left door. At the same time as the scuffle began, the Asian officer backed off immediately. Floyd couldn't have been struggling that much if those two officers were that chill. Looks like they could have taken a smoke break if they wanted. Again, still looks like someone overreacted to me.

The video where he supposedly dropped the bag is a YouTube video. It's 30FPS. If you wanted to, you could hit SPACEBAR to freeze the video and step through each frame with the '.' (period) key. You can see all sorts of smaller white stuff falling off the side of the building prior to what everyone is calling the baggie. I'm still calling it paint.

So, they took him out and put him on the ground why? If he wasn't resisting, why not take him to the station?
