Do all Gen4 Glocks come with 3 mags?
That is what they say even though GSSF states 2 mags. The GSSF 2 mag. rule should no longer apply if all others come with 3 magazines.
Just thought that I would ask,......do the standard Glock Gen 3 mags interchange with the new Glock Gen 4 pistol ? I would assume that they would, but I know how so called "improvements" spark sales.
Gen 1 through Gen 3 mags will work in Gen 4 guns as long as the mag catch is on the left side, as it comes from the factory.
My Gen 4 22 came with 3 mags
Thanks. That is what I thought.
I know that the old magazines will work in Gen4 guns when mag release is on left side.... But will the new Gen4 mags work in my Gen3 gun (G17)?
yes they will
My Gen4G17 came with three:
Not all Gen 4 guns come with 3 magazines. If I remember correctly, the red label cases come with 2 magazines and the blue cases come with 3 magazines.
I owned a G17 that had a mid February 2010 stamp on the casing envelope and a red label. This Gen 4 gun came with 2 magazines. The magazine quantity is printed on the red/blue label adjacent to the serial number (e.g., "2 17RD"), so don't let someone trick you into believing dealers are removing an extra magazine. If the package was shipped from the factory with 3 magazines, you can verify it by the printing on the case label.
The magazine design has not changed. You can use the G17 magazines in either Gen 3 or Gen 4 guns.
The magazine design has changed. You can use the Gen4 mags in a Gen3, but you can only use the Gen3 mags in a Gen4 if you keep the mag release on the left side.
