Before you start with your snarkey comments...yes, I put the grip plugs in all of the Glocks that I own. And, as long as I can find one that fits, I'll use them.

That being said, does the Gen4 Glocks with the adjustable back straps accept the aftermarket grip plugs?

    If so, who makes them?

I guess it just a manner of time before grip plugs, guiderods and mag releases (to name some things I can think of) will popup for the Gen4's.

I could be wrong, I only got a breif look at the Gen 4s, but I don't think they have a "butt" to plug.

No, unfortunately they don't fit in the Gen4's. I now have 3 extra plugs laying around.

I doubt anyone will make them either because each time you put a new backstrap on, the hole get's smaller, you'd have to have three sizes...

So there is going to be a hole there regardless?

Yep.... Each grip insert will change the size of the hole.

Why wouldn't they make three different size plugs? We're talking polymer here. Unfortunately, they'll probably sell them in a set of three for the three different size backstraps, even though shooters generally only use one size.

I got one off of eBay. I thought maybe Pro-Mag made it?

Anyway, I don't use a backstrap on my Gen 4.

Naw. Just looked. Made by a company whose logo is SE in an oval.

Sunset Enterprises. I found links for the same plug, it's advertised as being for Gen4 but the pictures show the plug in a Gen3.

I wish they made something like this in rubber so it would just lodge itself in there instead of needing a screw.

Yeah, that screw is a bugger to get started!! You'd think they'd at least put a point on it!

I ran into the same problem when I first bought my Gen 4 G19. My remedy, I sent it off to Cold Bore Customs. I had them fill the channel and put in a speedwell. They have pictures of it on Coldborecusoms website. It came back looking and functioning really well, and Lane at CBC was really good to work with, plus it was relatively cheap. I will do it to all my glocks from here on out.
