I'm really wanting a Gen4 G22, but I'm gun shy of the Gen4. (pun intended)
I've watched all the videos I can find and it looks good. With my luck I will get a bad one. I want only opinions from peopl who own one. I don't wanmt this to turn into another limp wrist ammo thread.
    Thanks

I had one that did, and a 23 Gen. 4 that did the same. Got rid of them both. Roll the dice if you'd like, no offense to you all with ones that don't, just my experience.

How do you know? Plus your signature doesn't help your case.

The 22 appears to be less prone to BTF, but then again it's much more rare than the 9mms. If you really want one just take a chance.

hickok45's Gen 4 22 videos show pretty good ejection though there was one or two that was erratic.

Yeah I watched all his and every other Gen4 G22 I could find. There were a few erratic ejections in all of them.
I just don't want to buy a new gun just to turn around and sell it at a loss in a short time.

500 rounds thru mine (CCI 180g FMJ and Winchester 180g JHP) and no issues. This one was factory test fired on 03/19/2012 S/N SWR XXX).

My Gen 4 G23 doesn't have the BTF issue. Granted not a G22 and it's just one gun.

No issues with mine. All cases land about four or five feet to my 4 o'clock. Ser # PLS*** purchased 09/07/2010. Just went past the eight thousand round mark last Tuesday.

No problems here. 350 rounds of WWB, some Winchester bonded JHP, and some 14-dollar crap at the indoor range.

Good for you...would you like a cookie? What basis do you have for calling him a liar, other than your uncle shooting one? One Gen 4 G22 supposedly works fine so therefore it is impossible for another one to have problems? You say it is nothing like your gen 3 19, so by your logic all Gen 3 G19's have the exact same issues and performance as yours.

I'll be finding out. Just bought a new gen 4 G22. Picking it up & shooting it tonight. Going to be a replacement carry gun for my other gen 4 G22 I carry. It's a 1st run gen 4 & hasn't had a single problem in upwards of 10K rounds. It's wore out & I'm retiring it to range/training duty.

I'm pretty sure most models are having some kind of ejection issues, you just hear more about the 9mm because more people buy 9mm.
