I just picked up a FDE GEN4 19. Put about 1000 rounds of various ammo through it without a problem other than a few weak ejections. I always try to buy a backup RSA to have on hand in case it's needed. So the one I bought from Brownells has the numbers 0 1 3 on the bottom of it and the one that came with the gun has the numbers 0 3 4 on the bottom of it. Can anyone tell we the difference between these two RSAs?

The 034 is the latest design, I do not know the specific differences however.

0-3-1 is supposed to be for the Gen4 G23. Originally Glock used the same strength springs for both the 9mm and .40 Gen4's, in later versions they reduced the spring strength for the 9mm versions, I don't know what each spring strength is specifically.

It should work fine in your G19, but with weaker ammo you might see a few more erratic ejections.

If you use the 0-3-1, I would watch the muzzle end of the outer metal sleeve because it may deform over time. Later versions had the metal sleeve reinforced to prevent that from happening. In the pictures in the following post, the RSA in the top picture has all of the same design features as the latest RSA for all Gen4's, the one in the bottom picture has the same features as the 0-3-1(you can see how the metal sleeve has deformed which can cause malfunctions):

Just as I suspected. Thanks for the confirmation!
