Hey guys I picked up my Gen2 19 tonight. It has the Austrian Proof Marks on it.

From the research project "FM - G-19 - June 1989 - 2nd Gen. - Austrian Proofs, ZTD (6/89) proof date, no 9x19 on top of breach area"

It was from an LE trade-in batch my local range got a hold of recently. The only modification it had was night sights (dead) and an Olive NY1 spring. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but hopefully this weekend, and I'll know better if I like the trigger or not.

    Without further ado

Nice! I love how dirty and beat up it is. Throw in a - connector to go along with that NY-1 spring and you'll be all set! How much did you pay?

Got it for about 390 after tax. Not too bad of a deal.

Congrats! That's an awesome choice, I'm happy you got to get it home. Nice pic's too! The Gen2 G19 has got to be my favorite variation of the venerable 19. The 19 just seems better without finger grooves(Plus it was introduced the same year I was, born; '88 ).

I think I'm gonna start looking around for a 1988 Gen2 G19,, unless they were Gen1's then, which are the "unicorn" Glock . I've been carrying the 17 recently (in my old simply rugged G19 CUDA holster) and I really like it. However, I do miss having a 19, it's just such a great gun!

I remember when I started as a member here, reading all the different threads and thinking the glockaholic stuff was overblown, I thought I would just get one Glock and move on to get more 1911s, revolver's and other metal guns. But, after being a member here for as long as I have and learning a bunch of information about Glocks from the insight of the good people of this forum, I want more Glock's!
