Regardless of whether his attempted reassignment was for the best or not I'd be surprised if this Ezra dude thinks he works for McMaster now. Wonder how subordinate he'll be in the future since he knows he can just go over his head?

I read the "trustworthy" article. Notice the dispute about the value of human assets.

I am reminded that between the First Gulf War and the Second Gulf War, apparently no human intelligence assets were placed in Iraq.

Last week, in Western Mosul, a $3 million Patriot missile was used to shoot down a $200 drone flown by ISIS.

I have no idea why it is necessary to have over a dozen national intelligence departments/groups/multiple councils. However, I do sense that there is a need for creativity, dissent, and argument, and investigation of options in intelligence matters. If you disagree and want a "yes man" organization, that is your preference.

"the whiney little *****". Why call the guy names? Do you personally know him? Although I like McMasters background, it is difficult to go beyond one's own experience. Whether it may be Trump or McMasters, I want public officials whose assistants include none yes men.

At this point, based upon admitted ignorance (and God forbid that anyone on this forum should ever admit ignorance), I don't know whether keeping the guy in the position is good or not. And, I dare say that no one in this forum personally knows any of the men.
