Is there any difference between the gen 5 guns sold to the public and the "M" pistols sold to the FBI?
Thanks, Sam

AFAIK, the ejector that was origjnally used in M and Gen5 models was the Gen4 30274 ejector (part of TMH 33854). But now it appears that recently-made Gen5 and G19X pistols use the new 47021 ejector (part of TMH 47208).

I wonder if the inertia of government agency procurement contracts will make upgrades like the ejector and the beveled frame less likely to quickly appear on M models.

The 47201 ejector is not approved for use on the G17, G19 Gen5 yet. It is only on the 34 MOS, 26 Gen5, and the 19X. 30274 is still used on the 17, 19 Gen5 pistols.
That's what FRM-72-26 shows for parts applicability, yet there is no technical reason that a 47208 TMH with 47021 ejector would not also be applicable for M and Gen5 G17/G19 pistols. It would be bizarre if a Gen5 G19 and a G19X required different TMHs.

It appears to me that the FRM-72-26 current specification of two different Gen5 TMHs simply reflects Glock's transition from TMH/E 33854/30274 for the FIRST M/Gen5 models to TMH/E 47208/47021 for ALL Gen5 models.

There are doubtless many Gen5 G17 and G19 pistols brand new in Glock dealer inventory everywhere with the original TMH/E, while no doubt all Gen5 G19X/G26/G34 pistols in dealer inventory have the new TMH/E. I'd be willing to bet that Gen5 G17/G19 pistols leaving the factory right now use TMH/E 47208/47021, regardless of what FRM-72-26 says. :)

The G17 I bought last week has the old 47208 and matched/beveled dust cover. The dealer said it had just been delivered the day I bought it..
You have just confused the entire discussion.

Ejector 47021 in TMH 47208 is the NEW ejector.

Ejector 30274 in TMH 33854 is the OLD ejector.
Nope. 30274 ejector, beveled frame, BGMD prefix, delivered and purchased 13FEB2018.
So what you wrote in post #15 stating that part 47208 (TMH with 47021 ejector) was present in your new Gen5 G17 is incorrect.

I'm confused! I have an Australia made 19M, the barrel does not have a M on it, top line says 9X19 (30) 5, bottom line says Glock AT and the slide says 19M ?
Australia? Reading a post after it's made offers opportunity to EDIT such statements. :)

The circle contains 3D, not 30.

The AT indicates the barrel was made in Austria.
