Can someone tell me if Gen5 pistols have the Marksman barrel?
Like County said; Yes!
I just received my issued pistol today and I noticed the groups where much tighter for sure!!
Anyone think the "marksman" barrel will be offered as an OEM replacement for Gen3/4?
Now that would be good.
I can definitely tell you the barrel is very accurate, much more than my Gen 2 and 3 for sure. I'm tempted to get rid of my old glocks for new ones and did I mention the trigger?
Can get those marksman barrels here.
The new Gen 5 barrels show a significant increase in accuracy over my 3-4 Gens
You're not kidding and I shoot all kinds of guns and my Sig 320 is super accurate so now this Gen 5 will have a shoot out with the Sig.
Will the G5 marksman barrels fit the (19 & 26) Gen 4`s...?
look at the website was it will tell you.
At 25 yards I shoot my Sig P320 Pro Compact about the same as my G45. Being old and disabled my groups with all pistols are much larger now that I am in my mid seventies.
Glocks website dosent tell me anything about being able to put a G5 barrel in a G4 pistol.
If you`ve got a link with the proof, please, by all means, post the the link in here. Thank you.
the link is in this chat or whatever its called.
Yes, the Gen 5 has the marksman barrel and the Gen 5 is my best shooting Glock!
But in the beginning, folks were saying the GMB wasn't any more accurate than previous generations.
I never got that memo, cause all my Gen 5 are more accurate than previous generations.
On a side note, I have a Vickers G43, that has the GMB and it is more accurate than my standard G43. The only difference between them that could make a difference in accuracy is the barrel.
Top group 10 yards, bottom group 12 yards.
I hope they make the barrel for the 23 soon!
