This really doesn’t count, but the single example of a brand new 26.5 I was able to dryfire Saturday had an exceptionally good trigger. I’m hoping mine will be as good!
Another sample of 1 here but the Gen5 at my LGS has a better trigger than either of my Gen4 19s. It is the first 26 I've even though about buying thanks to the deletion of the finger grooves and the decent trigger.
Trigger seems a little better. Very much like the absence of the finger grooves. The ambi slide release is a plus for me (lefty). I like the beefier slide release and the new finish. Very happy with my Gen 5 26.
Hi everyone. New to the forum and realitivly new to Glock. Just picked up a gen 5 26 today. No rounds down range yet but it feels better than my gen 3 19.
Even smoother than my g43.
I have owned quite a few Glocks and my Gen 5 G26, G19, G19X, G17 all have better triggers than any previous OEM Glocks I have owned or worked on which is quite a few
One thing I did was compare the height of the Gen5 sights to the Ameriglo Hacks I have on my 33.4. The rears were pretty much the same, but the front on the 26.5 was definitely taller. I think I’ll be ordering the Gen5 specific Hacks instead of trying to make do with the older ones.
