    Had the occasion today to hold a couple of different Gen 4s in different calibers. Wasn't real happy with the grips and imagined trying to grip it with wet hands in the hot weather. It would definitely be too slippery with those tiny bumps on the grips. I'll stick with my Gen 3.

    Yeah. The rougher the texture is the more slick it gets.

    I've found the opposite to be true. The rougher texture gives me more grip when my hands are sweaty.

    I was referring to the front and back of the grip. Guess I should have been more specific. JMO, to each his own.

    Sorry, still doesnt make sense..the Gen 4 has more "gription" (yes i know that is not a word) in all conditions vs the gen 3 grip frame.
