how come on the gen3 you can hold the weapon towards the ground, slam a mag in it and it will automatically rack and load but not on the gen4, I have tried many times and no auto rack? What changed?:dunno:

Your assumption is not correct. The "auto drop" is not present with all Gen3 guns (or others prior to Gen3).
The Gen4 guns will be tougher to auto drop because the arresting notch is a little deeper

Thanks for the correction, all my other glock would auto drop, but i cant get the gen 4 to do it. So it will auto drop? If i rack hard enough?

The arresting notch is a little deeper so the slide stop has a firm hold. You can smack it as hard as you like, I doubt it will move
