I haven't heard anything yet. But it seems like whenever I tune in to GlockTalk all I hear is bad things about the Gen 4 guns in general. I'd stay away. The 3d gen work so great why try something "new" when it isn't as reliable?
The current model of G30 / G30SF seems to have more than their share of problems.
Last few gun shows - there has been a table full of G30, G29, G20 & G21 (regular & SF) as well as a boat load of GEN4 guns being sold as "Glock factory" refurbished.
I have been going to gun shows for YEARS and never recall seeing this before.
My logical conclusion is a lot of folks are returning (what they feel are) defective guns back to Glock - and Glock is replacing parts and selling them as refurbished with an extra mag & full new gun warranty.
I am sure Glock (and other gun manufactures too) have always done this - but to see this many guns on a fairly new model tells me there is a problem.
