before all the panic i bought mine off a friend that only put 3 mags through it for $420
he was happy at the time but now i'm sure he's kicking himself in the ace. :faint:
i've had no issues with it & i'm very pleased with the feel & accuracy.

Got a pair of them. Like the 2010 vs the 2014. The 2010 has the frying pan finish also got it in a trade and my Lgs gave me 110.00 back. Dumped a shield and a Ruger LCR to get this beauty.

I went to my LGS to put one in lay away (around Halloween 2016). Austrian models were $585.00, but they didn't have any, the one they did have was a US made one - $550.00, double bonus. I never asked if they had US made ones before, as I didn't think any were available or extremely rare to find.

I think at one time I had 6 Glocks in various models. The only one that remains is my 23 and I don't foresee getting rid of it anytime soon.
100 percent reliable and I enjoy shooting it whenever I get a chance.

Picked mine up today and took it to the range. Not one issue. Shoots real nice: no more recoil than a Gen 3 G22 and almost as soft as my Gen 3 G35 (took these along for comparison). I think the new RSA makes a difference. And mine is accurate! Chewed up the bullseye. This one goes straight into carry duty.

Mine is Austrian. BCMZ serial prefix.

I went to the range this morning with my G23 gen 4, and just crossed 1000 rounds without a hitch in its getalong. I buy factory RN reloads (mostly Freedom Munitions, but some Winchester and Remington when on sale). It's my EDC, and I use the same ammo (if anybody gets hit by this gun and keeps coming, it's time to run!). I also have a Ruger P944 in .40 S&W, which is still a fine gun, and has always run without a hitch, but it's heavier and has several less rounds than the G23. My wife has a G19 (same frame but 9mm). My G23 says Austria but has USK prefix (???).

I had money to blow after retrieving my money back from a scuba diving trip to Mexico because of a back issue so bought a couple guns.Just bought a G23 yesterday and hope to put it in my rotation.I haven't even shot it yet but doing that today before I go see a back surgeon.I hope I like it as well as my full size M&P40 Pro.
Holy cow Dick Tracey. I just noticed that this thread was started back in 2013.Boy do I feel like a space cadet.
