Hello there, Glock lovers!
I've just acquired a brand new Gen 4 G17, and although I don't really need to bother switching the backstraps around, I am very curious as to how those new beavertail adaptors really look and feel.
I have shot a lot of 1911's, and Glocks as well, and I think adding this little piece to my Glock would help me get a better, high-hand purchase on the grip.
Thoughts? Comments? Experiences?
Thanks!
P.S. I'm not really a collector of firearms, and only keep about two handguns around at any given time. One for shooting, and one for show. Most recently had a "higher end" Kimber 1911, and really wanted to like it. I mean, I really wanted to. However, no matter how nice that thing looked, it would fail to feed or eject about once per magazine no matter which brand I used. Sold it and bought this G17 with extra money in my pocket. Glocks - they just function so reliably! Glad to have one around again, and looking forward to receiving my GTL light / laser I just ordered for it!
