This thread is worthless without a .........

Honestly, all this people handling the 4th gen and no pics yet ?? If this was a new car or a new phone comming on to the market, a pic would have been leaked a LOOOOONG time ago.

Yeah...me too.... I'd have been like "Heeeey...hold on. My wife calling me on the cell..." ...CLICK....."Oh never mind, she hung up on me."...

Don't any of these people carry a phone with a camera ? It doesn't even sound like NDA is being signed at these events, so I'm not sure why a pic hasn't surfaced yet...

I think Glock is on its way down with Gen. 4. They are afraid of change. It is obvious that the original thinker(s) behind the Glock platform are not the same people running the show now. There is no leadership. No coherent strategy, no innovation. That is long gone. They are merely responding to marketability and in the case of the adjustable grip, a market demand. Sometimes, that is not always the best thing. My only change to the Glock would be in grip backstraps. Nothing else. Leave the platform alone. If you change, you are admitting that something was wrong. I am going to go buy another Glock 21SF and another Glock 30SF so I don't have to buy an RTF2 or 3 or Gen. 4. Nope. Wrong road for them. But that is what a mature management team does, make mistakes in the face of change. The guys at S&W are obviously younger.

looks like a cr speed belt and a bladetech DOH holster. The holster is too far from the belt and too low to be a blackhawk serpa. Look close and you can see the attachment between the belt and the holster. The DOH holster is probibally the most used holster in uspsa production also

The only complaint I ever had about the glock's design was the serrations on the slide because my hands have slipped when handling the slide before, so I'm glad that they changed that up for the 4th generation models. I would actually have to hold one before I can say anything about the new grip, but I am pretty much fine with how they are now.

If the slides are interchangeable I would buy a bunch of new slides for my old guns.
    :honkie:

    What am I saying???

I'll just buy a bunch more new Glocks!!!

I think people read WAY too much into this stuff....

RTF2 came out because a cottage industry of grip tape, grip coverings and and stipling especially for Glocks was noticed by the company.

It LOOK's like the "Gen4" thing for the G-22 is just a fix for the problems that some guns have with some lights mounted, with ceertain loads, and a tiny little bit smaller grip option. Not the end of the world here folks

I like the simplicity of the design, but c'mon. It is the year 2010-almost. They could improve the product. Simply trying to make it less "block" like with a tapered slide like the P99, P2000, and gee whiz even the XDM. The backstraps are a plus if they do them well. If they would use metal mags they could decrease the grip size as well. Also, when you look at the different guns out there it there a polymers that are less "thick" and seem to do the same job.

My biggest frustration with the GAP's was the increase in slide width. The slide on the G36 is nice. Just my 2cents, we'll have to see what they look like.
