I dont personally have one, but people have been saying they do because the full size glocks now have the double recoil spring like the subcompacts have.

I have fired both the Gen 3 and Gen 4 G23.

The Gen 4 had slighly less muzzle flip but perhaps it was a placebo effect as I only put two boxes through it.

I own the G23 Gen 3 so shooting the Gen 4 felt fresh.
I originally thought the Gen 4 17 had less muzzle rise but the same "impact" feel. Thousands of rounds later including a few thousand through RTF2 models and I can't tell the diff anymore. I've started to think it was more a factor of the more secure grips vs older slicker Gen 2's and Gen 3's of ours.

Shooting my Gen4 with the original 03 spring against a Gen3 there was a definite reduction in recoil. With a newer 04 spring the recoil is back to being like with the Gen3. Therefore I use the 03 spring when I'm carrying +P loads for EDC.
