Had it at the range the other day, and it was jamming quite often. I was using federal fmj 180gr. Not sure if its the extractor or the rsa. Any thoughts on what to replace first?

Good cleaning first. Then RSA , it's the cheapest. Could be old magazines.

That's like saying my car won't run, what should I fix. You need to provide a little more information, such as:

    1. Failure to feed?
    2. failure to extract/eject?
    3. Failure to fire?
    4. Stove pipe jam?
    5. Failure to return to battery?
    6. Failure to lock open after last round has fired?
    7. Failure of trigger to reset?

We need a clue before proper advice may be offered.

Failure to eject, no stovepipe and when it does eject it erratic all over the place.

Also it was clean when this happened. And it failed extract which jammed the slide open when it pushed a fresh round into the back of a spent one that didn't eject.

When you say fail to eject, is the round still in the chamber?

Insufficient data but, sounds suspiciously like shooter induced and or ammo.

Shoot the gun a lot and haven't had this problem before. Maybe ammo.

Sounds like a reasonable place to start.

Considering it's a Gen 2 a new RSA would not be a bad investment. Even if that's not the problem it has to be getting tired.
