Hello!

I went to the range today and i had an interesting problem with my slide release, sometimes it wont keep the gun open after the last round and sometimes it would do this:

What do you recommend?

Often the slide failing to lock open, is a magazine problem.

Looks like it was installed incorrectly if you recently disassembled or it's way bent.

Take the slide off and post a pic,

Have you taken out the frame guts before? Comfortable doing?

Nothing seems bent, havent disassembled the gun in a long time but i dont mind doing it!

Here are the pictures! Sorry its dirty, havent had the chance to clean after todays sesion!

It does seem to ride further back in the frame than it should. Wiggle it front to back and side to side with mild force ... Any weird amount of play/slack?

not that i notice! do you mind sharing a pic of how your slide stop fits on your frame?

Not that I can do at the moment. You aware of getting that sitting situated correctly, and sure the pin is through it and seated? Before you pop the pin out, are we sure the slide is on the frame correctly ... The picture makes it look like it's askew

The slide sits fine, shoots great! Just the slide stop...
