I'm in the market for a threaded barrel and stumbled across these Gem-Tech threaded barrels they offer. Anyone have any experience with them? How do they stack up to a LW barrel? :dunno:

Have you looked at Glock factory threaded barrels?

    Forgot to mention it's for a G26.

I was unaware that Gemtech made threaded barrels, so I can't speak to them personally. I've played with LW barrels for my G17, G19, & G21. The 21 barrel worked flawlessly, but the 17 & 19 barrels had feeding issues. I sent them back to LW, but when I got them back they still had issues. I ended up going with the factory Glock barrels for all 3 guns and haven't had a problem with them.

As far as aftermarket barrels, I have yet to hear complaints about Jarvis, Storm Lake, & KMN.

As an aside, I haven't run a suppressor on my G26, but I'm told the shorter barrel lengths are harder to get to cycle reliably.

Due to bad experience with aftermarket barrels, I bought Glock barrels and had them threaded by Gemtech and one other company I can't think the name off right now. Kinda pricey to go that route but nice. For the G26 I recommend a Gen 4 G19 barrel for better RSA fit.
