Paul Erhardt is a firearms industry insider and an expert on the shooting sports. With over 20 years experience in politics, marketing and communications, Paul has served as served as the Director of Public Relations for the National Shooting Sports Foundation (the trade association for the firearms industry) and as Director of Marketing for New Hampshire based firearms manufacturer Sig Sauer. Paul currently heads his own PR agency, Erhardt & Associates, handling the public relations effort for the U.S. Practical Shooting Assn. (USPSA) and the Steel Challenge Shooting Ass. (SCSA). During his time with NSSF, Paul acted as an industry spokesman during the DC sniper incident educating media on firearms specific issues and industry positions. He also drove a nationwide PR effort supporting the youth competition shooting program, the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP), and was honored by SEOPA for his efforts on another national PR initiative on the economic impact of sportsman. Paul also wrote a weekly online newsletter distributed to the firearms industry leadership and the media.
