Thats not much of a joke man. That is almost dead on accurate. In Houston its not so bad, prices run about $1.60 for regular. Ive heard its much, MUCH worse elsewhere.

North of Dallas it goes from about $1.62 to $1.69 for regular. However, in California where they have to have super clean and specialized gas, they get it at $2 and much change.

It's great to live in one of the states that produces and refines a lot of the US oil, isn't it? Who cares about the slightly increased pollution (though you Houstonites do tend to mess around with the Dallas standards a bit) when your gas is a good $.50 cheaper!

If I did my conversions correctly, we're paying close to that in BC...

It was more than two something when I left CA, and 1.79 here (ND) for regular is a pittance! You complain about a dollar sixty?

No. No dinner, no profilactic, no lubricant. You pull up to the pump and take it right there.

The gas station attendents have fluffers.

Sorry, I shouldn't have gone there!
