its all fun till chuck norris shows up and shows us how to shoot 5 to glock.wow i shot really bad today i am blaming the plastic bags thats my story and i am sticking to it :faint:
I shot today . It was not that bad Just a little wet. It was a bit uncomefortable when the range was between Very wet and saturated, You had an extra 5lbs of stickey mud on each boot while walking around. I kicked my shooes and danced a jig before walking into the house and the wife said I still made a big mess:embarassed:. I shot fair but still shot a D with each gun. Can't get away from it fore some reason:dunno:. Thank you to the range officers and the GSSF people that make it such a good day . Even in the rain:wavey:. J.Michael
Definitely well worth the drive to NJ! Had a lot of fun and met some really nice ROs. By the time I arrived Saturday afternoon, the rain had really started to pick up, though I don't think it made much of a difference (besides it being a PITA to keep the tape stickin' on the cardboard). I put up a video on the events...don't take my comments seriously :embarassed:
Thanks to everyone who participated, fellow ROs who did a great job and put in a lot of hard work especially with the difficult weather, Cindy and Herb for (as always) great support from Glock, and anyone else I missed.
thank you andy and glenn for your continued hard work at the the gssf match in nj. thank you cindy and co for coming up here and giving us a great match and a special thank you to all the ro's that stayed out in the rain. you guys make this possible. THANK YOU :wavey:
Also wanted to say thanks to all the RO's. The match ran great this year. I got through it from register to last shot fired in just over an hour and a half. GSSF is a great time.
Jerry, Glenn is indeed in love, I say this because when he had a passenger at no time did any of the wheels of his golf cart leave the ground. (plus the Chocolate Chip Cookies were very good)
Andy and Glenn the two suggestions I have for next year are-
On the 5 to Glock make sure that there is some separation between the 4th and 5th targets. If it was there (the right side set up) I could not see it. The last 2 looked like a brown wall. Maybe they shifted as the tide went out.
When the Ros are finishing up their weekend with a large group shooting multiple guns and there are 3 set ups, only use 2 of them for the ROs while "regular shooters" are still going through the stages.
Our match armorer Mr Herbert Williams ( I think that's right) can shoot em as well as fix em.
