I bought a Glock 26 about 10 days ago. Sunday I ordered Gap Enterprises magazine floor plates and they arrived today. Nice and quick shipping. Man, these are well thought out. They should do a good job improving control. I am going to the range this weekend and will let you know how these work in use.

I have a couple mags with the GAP installed.

I think they are great for a slightly better grip when drawing from a holster, but I found that (for me) they could increase the odds of my shirt dragging on them, and increasing printing.

When actually firing my G27 with them installed, it doesn't seem to offer me much recoil reduction.... I initially thought that these were the greatest things ever..... but have grown to appreciate the stock mag floorplates.

They are a great product, and seem to be a favorite amongst those that have tried them.

Same here. Although I didn't have a problem with the factory baseplates.

I hav some waiting to be installed. It's surprising how hard a punch tool can be to find in a small town.

I have Pearce +1's on my G27 mags, but wanted to try the GAP plates. So I ordered a pair tonight.

    Try a small phillips screwdriver.
I love the GAPs on my subs. They're the only thing that provides me a firm grip with my pinky hanging.

A coat hanger and wire cutters, or a vice and hacksaw does wonders. Take a fork, bent two tines (sp), 90 degree opposite directions, file each down to the dimensions to push out the pins in a Glock. Also shape the fork handle to pop up the locking block. Or go ahead and spend the bucks on a glock punch tool or any of those offered at $29.95. A brush!!! take the one from your wife's bathroom, and tell here she needed a new one to keep those pearlies shiney and white. HEY we are talking about a Glock here, not some blinged out 1911:cool::cool:

They were and are the only aftermarket part that will touch my CCW G26. They make a huge improvement in grip for my big hands without added grip length. Well thought out, simple, and effective product.YMMV.
