Just wondering... Does anybody here still carry a GAP pistol? I just started carrying one of my G37s.

I do have a G37 that I throw into the carry rotation from time to time. Thinking of picking up a G38.

Yes. Saw the advanced notion of 45 caliber capability in an easier handling pistol about five years ago. And purchased all three Glock GAP offerings. Will always remain a lesser followed round than others, but I have all the ammo I reasonably could need. And confident some major cartridge maker will always produce the round. Hell, you can still find .32 S&W if you search diligently.

But what a great time for defensive handgun caliber choices with the 10mm; .357 SIG; 40 S&W, and Glock’s own proprietary round. Use? G37 my house pistola, carry the G39, and G38 just cause I wanted to complete the trifecta. Hopefully GAP’s acceptance will continue to grow. And very inexpensive used G37’s currently on Gunbroker. Good luck with your choice.

I don't currently own a GAP but I do EDC my glock 17 (same size excluding the slide thickness) I did however do a grip chop to a 19 sized mag (or 38 length) which made a huge difference in concealability with no sacrifice in shootability (I left the backstrap longer to sit flush with the mag vs just a flat bottom)

I've carried everything from pocket pistols/revo's, Kahr's, g19, ect and this has been my staple for a good 5+ years now.

My 17 on the left and my 2nd 19 that I did a bunch of work on and I still just couldn't warm up to it. Love how smooth the 17 shoots and the longer sight radius is a bonus.

I don't edc with the light thats more for when I carry OWB however I may try a tlr-7 in the near future and make a holster for it.

I was hoping this post was about a new holster for hot women called the GAP.... Disappointment.

Switched to “Winter larger caliber Glock” today. Stowed G23. Broke out and loaded G38. Already have G39 in service from Autumn carry. Will be kept online for shorter sweaters and jacket wear. Got to change with the seasons. Spring, G36 - transitions to G27 for the summer. Wadda’ system, eh? Merry Christmas, all.

    Reloaded a few rounds earlier.

A 37 rides in the jeep. A little big for me to hide.
Will carry another around the house on occasion.

A 38 is on my wish list.

I have been carrying my G37 for the last 2 weeks. It conceals pretty well in the vedder light tuck IWB holster I ordered.

I use my G 37 gen 4 as the nightstand pistol and keep my Gen 3 in my Brokos Belt with an IFAK and AR mags. I have 2 x G 38's that I carry, one I am sending to have the RMR mounted into the slide as opposed to using a mounting plate in the dovetail. I also have a G 39 that I just had to have, but it has been a bit neglected as of late. It is also suitable for carry. They all have Tru Glo tritium sights of some sort.

Hi everyone! hope ya'll had a good Christmas. Well I had a itch for a gap caliber Glock for some time - was able to pick up a new G38 when Glock did their blue label pricing to veterans. Looking to make it a carry gun in lieu of my 19 when I get it vetted, if I like it well enough I may look at picking up a 39 for warm/hot in NC weather carry.

Was pleasantly surprised to note that - according to the Glock catalog - that a loaded G39 weighs less than a loaded G27. Have a great week, y’all.

I just picked up another G38 today. I plan on installing night sights and shooting it a lot and then carrying it. 5E32B98D-3131-4E8F-A1C4-A4F6A724CADC.jpeg

My G37 Gen4 is my nightstand gun and my G38 is my truck gun. I sometimes add the G38 to my carry list but I mostly carry a G42 for it's lightweight and ease of concealment.

Since I got my newest G38, added sights, and shot it a few hundred rounds, I have been carrying it everyday. The G37 stays at home now.

This is me too. I carry my G 38 and G 37 the is on the night stand. Now that I have 3 G 38 slides for 2 G 38 Pistols, I am going to send one to get the RMR cut into the slide.

Think the G38 is Glock’s smoothest looking pistol. With that full, rounded slide. Their most elegant design to date.
