While I will suggest social media has ruined many careers... Those posts are rather bad. Really.
There are many times stuff is taken out of context. Those seem rather clear.
Hopefully it was when he was 14 yrs old, there are signs of change soon after.

In the hallway - it's on cuz!
It was before he got hired. I think it's safe to assume that his background investigation revealed it and they were okay with hiring him.

Yes, in a "normal" world... but today, "social media" has turned everything so upside down and sideways, who the heck knows what will happen when the admin gets "exposed" as "knowing" about this.

This is also an example of young people not thinking about consequences. If the guy had an idea that he would be in the law enforcement field back then, he should not have been posting stuff like that.

A friend of my son's went through college with help from an NROTC (Naval Reserve) scholarship. I warned him a couple times about Facebook posts, and he backed off a bit, but after time he has just started posting stuff again that could conceivably affect his career if he ends up in the Navy (mostly political, but other crap also). I hope it won't... but I warned him.

Tired of the whole social media LE non sense.

If you don't have the sense to keep your social media accounts PG and family friendly then there is nothing that can be done to help you.

Counter surveillance is everywhere and easier than ever these days. Anything taken out of context can be used to discredit you.

You need to find an anonymous way of sharing adult humor and political views.
