Good day! I'd like to ask to the G48 owners if they experienced any erratic ejection pattern, AKA brass to face?

I had a G26 and the spent brass was going to my right shoulder or straight to my forehead every other round or so. I was using 124 grain ammo and had no such issue with a Shield, so I assume my form was proper.

    Thanks for your time!

Nope, that problem has been solved with a little notch cut into the slide of the 48. From mild to +P, strong grip to limp wrist.. the 48 slings brass with authority at 4:00.

Thanks. That cut was something you had done or came from the factory like that?

Only when it bounces off the range booth.

Factory. It’s been rolled out on the newer Gen 5’s as well. Glock quietly solved the BTF issue (after denying it was a real thing for years!)

G48 is the best "ejecting" Glock I've ever owned right next to my G17 gen4.

So from another thread we know that all but the very earliest Gen 5 FS models have the breech face cut.

is there any thing to look for on the exterior of a G48 that would indicate the breech face cut?

Do any of the nPVD (silver) G48’s have the BFC?

Even a S/N would be good info for those that follow this model. Thanks.

My 48 slings them further than any Glock 9mm I've shot, right around 3-4 Oclock. I was standing probably 6 feet in front of the hood of my vehicle (which was to my right, pointed at me), and there is still a bunch of brass sitting on the windshield wipers :p .

BTF was real.... just not a real issue.

I thought differently when my PUU prefix RTF2 19.3 stuck a piece of scalding brass between my glasses and temple.

Obviously a hot load and a combination of big head and insufficient clearance between glasses and head. I’m surprised it didn’t hit the brim of your hat.
